For my independent  novel i chose to read The Elevnth Plague by Jeff Hirsch. I was intresested with this book because I am a fan of The Walking Dead and I read and watch things about stories of survival or a unexpected event and I like to see what they do and how they react to it.

Some Backround infromation of my book is that There was a war going on and during the war two thirds of the U.S. population was wiped out and killed from a vivcious strain of Influenza people called the sickness The Eleventh Plague and it tell us how a family tries to survive the plague and what to do and what not to do.

                                                                 Book Suggestions 

The Book I read for the summer is One Shot at Forever by Chris Ballard. This novel is in past tense about 30 years ago in Illinois. One Shot at Forever is about Macon high school baseball team in Illinois. The City of Macon is very desolate with alot of farms, farmland and not that many people wit the population of about 1500. And there baseball team was not projected of being good because they were a very small city with a small school but Coach Sweet(baseball coach) soesnt believe that he believes that any team can be good its just how much effort and work you put into your sport. Even there own Staff from Macon High school thinks they wont make it ever. But Coach Sweet leads them to the state turnament and you will see what happens in the tournament if you read the book.


I recomend this book who likes baseball or sports because its a baseball book but its not just baseball is has good leeson and a good moral story. If u want to read a book that has a loyt of thrilling moments and books that want u to keep turning the page and with alot of stunning moments. You should read One Shot at Forever.
