Perceptivity

The aspect of writer’s voice in the passage"The House on Mango Street" reflects on the perceptivity. The author shows a lot insight about their old house and there new house. The way the author describes the house was very depressing and sorrowful looking at the house. The Author gives an example of when the daughter was embarrassed to live in that house that was on the 13th page saying “Where do you live? She asked. “There,” I said pointing up to the third floor. “You live there?” She asked. “There” I had to look to where she pointed- the third floor, the paint peeling, wooden bars Papa had nailed on the windows so we wouldn’t fall out. You live there? The way she said made me feel like nothing. There. I lived there I nodded.
